That's correct. I decided to go through my 472 and the machine shop still has it. I'm looking for a 500 crankshaft. I'll look forward to visiting with you again this coming weekend at the drags. I'll be driving a blue and white 57' ford sedan this year. If anything changes I'll be in my truck in the avatar. It is still running with the 327. I'll be at the host hotel around 6:00p.m. Sam

  3. We're not going to make it this year. It hurts to even have to say that. But we had some big but good family changes namely a move from Colorado Springs to Rapid City South Dakota.

Sorry to hear that. Brother and I always enjoy visiting with you. I hope you can make it next year-family first. Maybe we'll get to run each other next year. Sam

  5. Okay this is not at all a hamb worthy car but you have to see this! I spotted it on the way home yesterday after a doctor's appt and wanted to hear 1471610495348.jpg 1471610518963.jpg the different opinions. Although initially it comes off as tacky it's actually put together pretty well. 1471610447706.jpg 1471610344332.jpg

I'm trying to figure out how he's going to fit the header on that combine and how's he going to clear the terraces in the field.

Anything that's built well is worth looking at gets some respect for the efforts but I'd say it's tacky also but to each his own.

    You asked for opinions......
Each to their own, but why not put all that effort and resources into something more worthwhile.

  11. A lot of cool stuff for sale here. It's just about 2 miles down the road from my house. 1473598177160.jpg 1473598183120.jpg 1473598191092.jpg 1473599397607.jpg 1473599419373.jpg 1473599450828.jpg 1473599476452.jpg

  14. The view thru my windshield. Of course this is not my work truck windshield but rather my 51 Hudson Super Six. cruising through the hills to Custer.

  22. Saw that Ford on South 79 last night. A good example of needing LED tailights, thing was invisible from the back compared to other traffic.

I love the old Studebaker, but my opinion may be a bit bias.;)

Do they make them in 6 volt, plus do they look hokey like some of the 12 volt versions and how pricey?

    Are LED's traditional?

  26. I dont know and i dont care. this car was invisible at dusk. I prefer bright bulbs and whit housings. We have had many threads about how WHITE not silver makes a tailight brighter. My 40 Chevy lights on the T are/were BRIGHT
