The picture with those ugly wheels and tires makes fenders the better choice however a better selection for wheels and tires and I would vote no fenders
Fenders on the original post's car looks better because they fit the wheel and tire combo. If you want to go fenderless, you'll need bigger wheels/tires.
Me, No Fenders, no bumpers, chop the top 3" but I love the basic hot rod look, just the essentials. I would say the E&B car says it best. I still have that old issue kicking around here. Cliff Ramsdell
Thanks Danny, Up here in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota its going to be almost 80, thats crazy for the second week of October so we are going to go out and put a few hundred miles on her. Thanks again for the wonderful comment.
Just when I'm thinking fenders look better on a sedan, someone goes and posts a pic of fenderless with attitude. Don't think you can go wrong either way. How's that for non-committal?
Ha, removing the fenders does make a car LOOK faster, but all the fastest cars in the world have fenders....... i like fenders and hoods.
As you can see by my avatar I like chopped hiboys. Although 32 Fords have some nice looking fenders. I also think you should leave the fenders on your car. Just sayin...
I like them both ways. If I had two 32s , I would want one of them to be a High Boy! The Eastwood & Barakat 32 SCREAMS HOT ROD! My 2 cents Ron...
Havin the same problem with mine a couple buddys say take them off and a lot say leave them on you saw the car what do you think. traded your old roadster for a 29 sedan delivery it is also fendered. changing the sedans color to root beer now
Have had two Highboy Sedans in the great NW and unless I get back to Socal, any future ones will have fenders. Just too wet up here on the West side.
