Fenders look good to me, your avatar says you got a fenderless already.

Either way, you can't go wrong! Fenders would look good on that car if you are staying with a traditional look... Here's my Tudor, which is along the lines of what Krylon32 is talking about.

Build it how ever you want to build it. Don't worry about what other people think.

  9. If you knock the fenders off and lower it there will be no denying it's a hot rod.
If you leave them on it will pass for a street rod. 324 or not.

Its your car, do what you want. But, if I was building a 32 Tudor sedan (which is my dream car by the way) I would do it fender-less. But that is just my opinion, the tires are wrong and thats why it looks a bit goofy with out the fenders. Either way it is a kick ass car and it will look awesome either way.

  11. Which ever way you go I'm sure it will be a righteous ride. I'm feelin' fenders on this one.:D

Those pics make a pretty good case for fenderless. The E&B sedan was the first one I thought of. Done right they're hard to beat. Still, I'm gonna go with my first answer (like the teacher used to say) fenders!

Fenders; and lower it a bit. No fenders; chop it.

Looks like it was already a hot rod.....what engine is in it now.....put the fenders back on, paint the rear wheels black and drive it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Yep, fenders all the way, especially with that light body color and stock top. The stock roof, light body color sitting on the frame make it look a mile high.
IMHO, Hiboy Sedans really only work when chopped and painted a dark color.

I've always liked sedans better with fenders. My 32 Tudor is gonna have them.

  20. On the way to Boerne Texas yesterday a set of fenders would have been nice. Two highboys in the rain caused a bunch of water spray.

Still has a 4 banger, had hydraulic brakes and dropped axle put on 30 years ago but otherwise all original. Paint job is terrible and ugly! I'm going to do a complete rebuild and probably chop it about 2".

Why not just post and say, "look what I have". I'm proud for ya owning a '32.

  23. I like them with NO FENDERS and I like them with fenders, they just don't have that bad ass look with them .

I love them either way, but a Hot Rod needs a chopped top and no fenders. Your car is a great candidate for fenders if you leave it as is — Resto-Rod. Real Men cut them up….just saying!
