    Truck is sold.

'34 Ford cab on '28 fully boxed rails. Cab has been chopped 4 1/4" and wedged channeled 5". I am 5' 8" and I have 4 plus inches head room. Seat back could stand thinning to gain leg room. Bed is from a '28 RPU, tail lights are '37 Ford. No door glass but regulators are there. Rust in rear cab corner and doors need skinned and bottoms. I have new bottoms and I tacked one in place so I could use the door for now. The bed is a bit rusty and the section below the tailgate is pretty much gone, Gate is tack welded closed. Fully functioning cowl vent and windshield . Grille is a '33 commercial that was sectioned many years ago.

Has an 8ba with rebuilt 94's on a Fenton Super manifold, old 425" Offy heads, Mallory dual point dist. Headers were from Gear Drive Headers and are '36 driveshaft tube style and the turnouts are held in by one bolt with baffles hidden inside the turnouts. Headers alone are $775 when you get them from Gear Drive. All new engine mounts. New Brice Thomas radiator, runs cool even idling in 100 degree heat. Engine leaks a little oil where the dipstick tube fits to the pan, other than that pretty dry.

Has a '39-ish 3 speed, open banjo rear with 3.73's, long ladder bars built from thick wall DOM tubing. Chassis has an 8" drop in the rear and is tubing from the cab back. Has a 4" drop axle up front with new kingpins, etc. The wishbones have incrementally sized holes that have been sleeved. Tie rod runs through the wishbones. Frame has a mild sweep up front, about 2 degrees. '39 steering box with a '40 wheel. Wide 5 wheels with new bias 7:50x16 Coker Firestones on the rear and nice bias 6:50 US Royals up front. New '40 juice brakes all the way around including new wheel cylinders. Brand new fuel tank from The Hot Rod Shop. I made the floor so that the panels can be easily removed enough to remove just the trans, or the entire cab can be removed without even pulling the steering column.

I spent the last couple years and a lot of money putting this together and want to do something else. Runs and drives pretty good and has been very dependable. I went through the rear end, replaced bearings and seals and put in a very nice set of axles. The trans is quiet and shifts ok but it will grind a little if you shift too fast to second. Trans leaks a little too. Good clutch. I don't know much about the engine, but it has been gone through at one point as it has adjustable lifters and sounds like it has a mild cam. It looks very clean inside looking through the oil fill and fuel pump hole. No noise, smoke, blow-by or other drama. Has new ring gear and starter drive, truck starts instant and just idles right off. All lights and turn signals work, has no gauges but I have some old S/W's. Clear titled as a '28 (chassis)

    $16000,00 consider Anglia or Willys project, '55 2dr post, maybe a Ford Lightning or other interesting trades. Would also consider a nice newer bumper pull camp trailer. 20160807_193215.jpg 20160807_193144.jpg 20160807_193322.jpg 20160807_193302.jpg 20140423_112153.jpg 20140503_212647.jpg 20150206_124406.jpg 20150216_112049.jpg 20150324_094850.jpg 20160807_193522.jpg 20160807_193444.jpg 20160807_193345.jpg 20160722_133220.jpg 20160722_134402.jpg

20160918_115339.jpg New Model A rear spring installed, much better stance. Sits 1 1/2" higher and now has proper shackle angle. No rear shocks yet but I have the lower mounts...
