    Great Shot.
Love the soft focus around the rod.

  11. Likewise Zankich. (hey, you called me by my last name... I dig the informality.)
Like Gary, I always enjoy seeing your work. The process is much like mine in the way you go about it but the end results are completely different. I have great respect for you ‘liner’ thinkers. Those complex semetrical designs aint easy. If they were, I’d draw them too...

Thanks Pete, I often blur the edges to help make the car really pop.

  15. Another Friday is almost over. I started one more Worlds Fair Concept sketch. It needs a lot more work, before it's finished. But it is getting late, so this is it for now. I just want to say thanks for your post, and likes this week. It is always fun to see everyone's Art each Friday. Ron... 048.jpg

a really big show! I was jaded from yesterday's daytrip to Cruisin the Coast. Not so wild on the weekdays....But you guys have rattled my cage with the same power as if I had not been driving down a beach highway with45% of the cars being Hamb friendly. Thank you all for your art and thoughtfulness.

  20. I prefer real pencils personally. These programs and filters are what put artists out of work and reduce the value of traditional art. Sorry, I don’t want to be a jerk but I just can’t get into it. I appreciate you contributing to the art show and finding a way to express art in your own way, for many, that is what art is. Just wanted to let you know why I don’t hit the like button. If that makes me seem like a snob, I assure you, I am not. I just prefer the honesty of a pencil rendering, created in a few seconds or over many hours, to using a digital ‘sketch’ filter. All the best.

I attended a car show, the last big one ("big" being relative for our area) of the season I think. I took
advantage of the perfect weather and did a couple pencil sketches.

There were artist booths selling their wares as well, I picked up this cool striping panel done by Jacob Fernandez.
