I am selling my 1964 401 nailhead engine. It is complete from intake to pan. No carb. Don't know anything about the internals , but I have turned it over by hand. I would expect a rebuild is in order. I also have a 1964 ST400 transmission for an additional cost. $ 250 obo. If it needs to be shipped, for the cost of the pallet, I'll load it on my pickup and can drop it off at a Fastenal shop or any other local shipper you wish to use.
