Quite late in posting. I've been busy driving a semi truck all over the country, and my internet access hasn't been up to speed...especially on the road. Early on, I learned of the thread from a fellow HAMB member, and finally got the chance to view the video on an other trucker's device. I now have the necessary devices for internet access while I'm away from home. I'd like to comment.

I never met Larry in person, but he lost his wife not very long after I lost mine, and we spoke a couple of times via messages. Even before that, before I knew whether he was even aware of my existence, I felt somehow proud when I became the target of his sharp wit...when at some point in some forgotten thread, he posted, ''Who's Rickybop?'' Lol.

I've shared the video with a number of friends. I'm proud to explain to them that this is our forum and Larry is our buddy. They've all been quite impressed with the video and how his family and good friends sent him off in such unique fashion.

Personally, I get misty-eyed every time I view it...yet want to pump my fist in the air. And that's the best way I can characterize it.
    A tear...AND A CHEER!!!

    Rest in peace, brother Larry.
It was good to have you with us.
May you forever reside in God's glory.

DSCF0408.JPG Larry was one of those unforgettable people, that always made you feel happy, you can't look at a 3Window and not think about him. Same thing with a front axle, wonder what this one would look like if you worked your magic on it?

I think of Larry often. We never met face to face. But I still considered him a friend. I was up in the rafters the other day and had to move a seat outta the way...the seat out of his last project '32 Ford truck. I think of him often.

Yeah, I miss him to flatheadpeat. That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do was push that chute lever forward and let Larry go. Buy the way choptop40 that was about a 170 mph run.
