The cars in the picture looks like the ones that ran at Fair Park in Dallas on Saturday night in the 50's. Use to ride the street cars (trolley) down to watch them , had to catch the last one to get home.

 

They remind me of the old dirt track stock cars we used to have here as well.

Dan, your pics (actually pure art!) always amaze me, they just jump off my screen to my eyes. I swear they are better than what I can see in person but I still have to see this one for myself next year!
