I am planning on going on Friday and Saturday this fall. I don't know how the weather is going to be. Raining pretty steady right now in Portage, anybody from Jefferson on here? How wet is it down there?

I know when it is wet your feet are about twice their original size by the time you are finished walking around.

I'll be there on Friday. Looking for 41 Pontiac parts, and a Pontiac OHC six cylinder engine. Need to get some new tires, too.

Chris, If it's raining, I'll probably not go. Never seem to buy anything there anymore anyway. If it's nice, then I could use the all day walking to lose a few pounds.

Mud can't compare to the old days.

It's like a super highway now , but I'm still bringing my boots.

Bringing my grandson Saturday, only his 2nd time. A couple years ago, his first, was a really nice day, I need to show him what Jefferson is usually like....As long as there is some not raining time, it will be OK. Boots for sure! Gene

Not sure about Jefferson but I live 14 miles east of there and it rained pretty hard here yesterday(Wednesday). They are talking some smaller pop up showers today yet and then a good rain early Friday morning. Then spotty after that for the weekend.

Not sure if i'm making it. Was hoping to but like last year a few things just popped up for me. Starting to hate this time of year. Went many years straight thru the 80's and 90's and up to 2005 to both the spring and fall shows. Since then hit very few.

Oh, is that the midwest's largest snowmobile and lawn mower swap meet ? Last time I went they parked me so far away it seemed like I walked back from Madison. Was tired of walking before I even got in the gate.

I was there at 1430 today. Not bad at all. Rain showers are forecast to end by Noon on Friday. Saturday is supposed to be a great day

Watching the weather on the news right now, looks like we're actually going to be dry today. I'll see you over there, bobwop.

For the most part the rain stayed away today. However, there were large puddles in every isle. I recommend rubbers or flip flops unless you're in to wet shoes and socks. Still a fun day. Here is my lowly purchase...

Bought some rain boots on the way in to Jefferson yesterday. Glad I did! Most of the place was pretty well flooded in the morning, but started receding around mid day. Got myself some good parts on the cheap and a double dot Pepsi cooler. The west half of the swap was definitely better than the east this year.
