Orange cars, I need orange cars!!!!

I had a kool Hugger Orange 33' Ford chopped Sedan! Like a goof, I sold it!!!!!!!!!!

 

This is a Ditzler, base coat/clear coat, custom mix, to match ICS Pure Orange powder coat. The grill shell is paint, the remainder is powder coat. There is no metalic, metal flake, candy, or pearl. Just Pure Orange.

 

HUH? Are you for real?

 

Hey, at least he used the search to find a thread... Besides more Orange cars needed showing... And who really minds looking at pictures of more cars...

Viper Red on that one Doug. I was working in the body shop there at the Chevy dealer in Tigard when it was squirted. I think I even did a little block sanding on the Strode Special.

Yea, Larry, I kinda knew it wasn't a real "orange" orange, but I just had to show Martys' roadster because it is so neat.

 

Did Karl Pedersen ? sp ? paint it?

 

You got pretty close on the spelling, missed the last name by one letter. Karl Petersen did shoot it and we've been friends for years. He's currently working at So Cal in Tualatin and 3-4 cars in the World of Speed museum have his handy work applied to their surfaces. Cool to see all of the orange rides. Marty's car did look a bit of the orange in the right light. Still can't believe he sold it. The Spalding Roadster tribute he's currently working on with Pat Ganahl will definitely eligible for this thread.
