    Hi guys.
    Can anyone help?
We're two English Hot roders with a storage problem.
We flew into Chicago, drove to Detroit then flew to Florida.
We picked up a ramp truck and we've driven to New Jersey.
We now have a bike and 4 engines on the back.
    Still looking for a car!
Problem is the docks are shut in New York and we can't leave this thing anywhere !
Is there anyone with a driveway we could park on and perhaps put the bike in a garage for a day?
    Fingers crossed.
Thanks to all the hot rod guys who have helped us so far !
    Bob and Brett.

Is there any safe storage in New York?
We're at the docks at Secsucas at the moment.

Guys,I'm too far to really help but i would drive south on njtp[95] until you get to east brunswick area and maybe you can find a gas station that will let you park and maybe even has room for the bike inside [im sure it will help to offer some$ of course]. DO NOT leave anything in Secucas ! That place is a shit hole.

Get on I78 2 hours west into Bethlehem, Allentown area. Pretty safe there. You should be able to stay at any hotel with truck loaded. Cars and coffee at Steel Stacks tomorrow morning. Should be a good time. I am not in the area right now or I would say stay at my place.

    Made it !!!!!
Managed to get hold of a security guard.
His command of the English language was not the best!
However, a few folded notes and he rang his boss. He in turn rang someone else and bingo... They took the truck and bike in.
    Fab.
Next job , we are at the train station and heading into the big apple.
Where do we stay? Any suggestions for an average priced hotel for the next four nights?
Been told to get off at 34th.
Are there any shows or meets in the area over the weekend.
Would love to have a last fix of a few more cars and even more... The people!
    You guys are great!
God bless America.... and the model A.... Oh, and the model T !

That's a great way to buy stuff over here, get a full load and stuff it in a container and off it goes. Bob

Damn...I was working all day in my shop, yesterday. Wasn't on the computer except a few minutes. I'm only about 10 miles from Belmar, you could have parked the truck here! Sorry! If you are still in the area, need any help, or want to visit or anything, call me. Will be in the shop Sunday, Monday, part of Tues. 732-364-1719 Mark

Thanks for the photos. Nice truck, and bike. Cash in hand is universal, works anywhere on the globe. While in New York city, go see the Chrysler Building, art deco at it's best. Look at the building exterior and lobby, and then look at these pictures of a a 1934 Chrysler Airflow. You'll see the connection.
May as well get a picture of you two on the escalator in Trump tower lobby. When Donald is elected you'll be trendy !

  25. Nice XS650, cool build. I'm assuming you are already all over NY Craigs List, but if I had a bag of money, a storage container and was in NYC I would grab the following:

And it's a good thing I don't have a bag of money and a shipping container, believe me, that would be like dangling a raw steak in front of a hungry dog.

    Thanks clunker.
It's well dangerous having some cash over here !
Bit like a kid in a sweet shop for us Brits.
The tough bit once you have bought it, is we have to wait 2 months to see it!
