I have the trip-gauge set from MOON, only the voltmeter is easy to read at night - despite being futher away (mounted under the dash). Oil and water gauges are mounted in the dash, next to the key-switch. (HATED that a PO cut into the dash - but it is a good, visible location.) Seems like the gaps to let the light in are larger in the voltmeter, than the water and oil.

Is there a BRIGHTER bulb I could try in the socket? I can't think of a way to split the gauge apart to tune-up the gauge-face gap a little, for more light. Any ideas? Thanks, Tim

Would you mind posting a pic of how you mounted your gauges? Thanks
