Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

Call me Krazy, but I'd slather that purple Plymouth with some AMT style scallops in Lime Gold!

 

Have you seen his collections? He has no room for food or even a coffee pot with all the cars, lawnmowers, Lee lenses and wax cans! I'm sure I've missed a few others.

 

Now that's the ultimate addition to any man cave !

 

This was my Dad's '53 Ford his senior year of high school in Wichita, KS. He later sold it to a friend, who wrapped it around a tree.

 

LOL. Before I got married, the only thing my oven had seen was frozen pizza and canned cinnamon rolls.

Great pics from the weekend, Mick. Love the laid back feel of Wichita. I remember when Denver was like that before the HUGE influx of people for the "greener" life.

Really like the Ford convertible, too. New one on me. Never seen it before. There seems to be a lot of nice sleds up north. E

Seeing that, I know they look nice and different. Wonder what they'd look like on a Desoto.....

Found some more info on this one:
"1956 Meteor Rideau Custom Convertible. This early custom was built 45 years ago by Master builder Terry Hawirko using body solder to shape the exquisite lines. The grille and rear bumper sections were created from 1960 Cadillac grille bullits and the front bumpers are ’55 Pontiac, topped with ’59 Lincoln headlights. The lake pipes are functional and the rear quarter panels have been lengthened to accommodate the continental kit. The rear of the car has been fitted with Edsel station wagon tail lights and the cruiser skirts have been hand-manufactured using ’42 Packard hood halves."
