  8. Drew this for the Lakers Hot Rod Club logo a couple years back - never realised till now that I had based it on Larry's 3-window! A4 scan 2.jpg

    RIP Larry.

  10. Larry will be missed so much on here. 031.jpg The H.A.M.B. will never be the same. He was a great Hot Rodder. And his 3 Window 32 is also one of the best too. Thanks Larry for so many laughs and memories'. Ron...

  13. This is all I got for now, a little pre-halloween:

This drawing is pivotal as to confidence in my own style. There was a lot of self doubting beforehand, and this drawing proved a point. What happened is I first drew the car as you see it, but questioned it because it was a little off from reference. I redrawn the car close to per reference and it didn't look or feel like my first drawing. So, it was a start on quit the doubting and start liking.
My road to recovery had a few bumps in it, otherwise where would the fun be if it wasn't??
So, now it's like I just picked up another used car with the same mileage. This car I will call the Post Prostatectomy de ville. It's missing some parts and needs a little performance enhancement. It leaks and has a temporary drip pan underneath, but it's being addressed at the moment. A restoration project. How's that for sort of HAMB friendly wording? Damn.
Well, during the early portion of my recovery, I spent a lot of time reading builds and other fascinating stuff on the HAMB. I learned a bunch of new things. You can always benefit here at this site.
Blah, blah, blah, huh? Lets get this FAS on track and see some cool art. Looks like a start of another kick ass show.
    ...RIP 3WLarry.

  14. 026.jpg I just took these, I like how the age shows on this old 54 Chevrolet tin toy car. Most people like the mint in the box stuff. I think the age is what makes it more Artsy. That just me though. 025.jpg
