Event Coverage Watkins Glen Vintage GP

I went to the Watkins Glen vintage fest this past Friday. The streets are shut down to traffic for most of the day and parked full of vintage race cars. The event culminates with some of the cars making a couple “parade laps” around the original 6.6 mile grand prix course that ran through the village of Watkins glen from 1948-1952. This is mainly a sports car event, not entirely HAMB friendly, but there’s usually some hot rods parked along the side streets, and enough early race cars around that hopefully this isn’t too off topic.
