Up for sale is my authentic 1928 Chevrolet Track Roadster with oval and dry lakes history and that was actually raced back in the day. Previous owners include Manuel Canto & Bill Souza who campaigned the car as the Golden State Radiator Special on several western tracks and dry lakes including the 5/8 mile in Oakland from 1949 to 1951. As followers of this era know, most of these Track Roadsters were run and “thrown away” but somehow, this rare car survived. This car was found by a California collector in 1993 wearing its original blue body color and silver frame. Remnants of the Golden State Radiator Special logo still adorned the car. She was restored around 1993 and the only change was to add a deuce shell instead of her original track nose. I have a raw one that goes with the car. Car was accepted and ran in the 2016 Wildwood Race of Gentlemen event. According to TROG Officials, she is eligible for more races. You will need to apply per their rules. Cars runs and drives great, has a hot 1948 Ford Flathead, 1936 Ford Trans (also have original in & out box), 1932 Ford rear end, 1935 Ford front end/spindles, Franking steering box, early original gauges, original handbuilt headers, twin carbs. This thing hauls ass. Original nerf bars come with car, too. Car is an original center seat car and has all new upholstery with period aircraft belt. New tires front and rear and we have the original tires from what appears to be the early fifties that go with the car. No title, the car is sold on a bill of sale. No rust, no nonsense.
