  10. My '39 project car came from Wisconsin. Appears to be an early sixties build-283, three deuces, Muncie 4 spd, was red at one time. It also had '40 headlights.

For some reason that parts store name on the Anglia rings a bell - Indiana somewhere? Maybe there was a shot of it on a U.S. 30 thread?

  16. Yes it was in Indiana. Glenn Kreiger ran a 1941 WILLYS Coupe out of Van Senus Auto Parts. He also built the old chassis that was under my '33 Coupe

My buddy owned it for a while back in the early 1980's. At that time it had an injected 331 Chevy engine in it. I think I have a picture or two of it from a car show some where in Wisconsin. The car was kept in Milwaukee and if I remember right the show was in Sheboygan.

Any more pictures of "The Little One"?
I am sure that Bill ( the original builder) would like to see them. The car is now in one of the Dakota's, Bill tracked it down a few years ago. I will print any photos posted and give them to Bill, he is not computer savvy.
    Thanks!

'49 Ford built by Rich Somers of Stevens Point WI. in late 50's or early60's. 1956 Ford front fender sections and rear quarter panel sections grafted on. Also built in connie kit and 54 Chev. grille. Painted a deep bronze and cream. Supposedly running a Y-block. Was sold to someone in the Milwaukee or northern Ill. areas in the early to mid. 60's. Anybody got any info.???? Best and only pic's I have ....

just a remembrance; i lived in monmouth, ill., in the mid-'60s and remember one local guy who rode a harley, one of those war-surplus jobs that came in a crate, and you assembled it. also, it seemed that every other dirt-track jalopy was named for a local rotgut beer, "iron man"!
