Sunday models

Discussion in 'The Antiquated' started by milo1303s, Mar 16, 2014.

  1. Thanks Joker, Bad willys! Buckeye so cool that you still have yours, I would love to see them. I like the Virginia, philo. Scratch built is the best. I'll post a few more of my uncles models that he gave me. I was 6 or 7 when he was building them. My first build was a 61 Ford. I don't have it. I'm glad he kept his until I was old enough to appreciate and take good care of them. Ron... 072.jpg 074.jpg 073.jpg

  5. Thanks, for your post and likes. Another one of my uncles. Notice his style, skirts, dual exhaust, lowered in the rear. And nice paint for the time. 078.jpg 079.jpg

Ok, anyone know why I can't post a picture in this thread?!? I can reply, but I get this message every time when trying to upload a pic.

    The following error occurred

The server responded with an error. The error message is in the JavaScript console.

Which I don't have any trouble in any other thread.

  15. Thanks Dennis, and Tn Trash ! Those are great on so many levels. Mainly they are just fun to look at. And thanks to everyone else too. Great work everyone. That T roadster {86 B/A } is so cool. So I started on my old T, that I picked up at Nats East. I always try to add a picture with my post, even if it is just a start. The dirt is gone. But it needs a lot of parts. 16. I'm working on, {playing with } my Nasty T model. Where or what can I get for the gas hoses ? This is a lot of fun for only $15. Thanks Ron... 002.jpg 005.jpg

Dennis, your roadster rules...Ron, try insulation stripped from small gage wire for your gas lines-

Got a little paint on the Biscayne, and am finding the body is kinda warped, so I'm being lazy and rather than fix that, I'm playing with Model T parts.
'25 body and interior, '25 floor/fender unit with the fenders cut away from the aprons, '27 chassis, suspension, wheels/tires, and engine. It's inspired by, but not a replica of, the Roy "Multy" Aldridge Model T. I've lowered it, just a little. I keep toying with the idea of trying to scratchbuild an aftermarket OHV setup for it, but I think I'll keep it simple with the engine and just modify an intake/carb setup, build a header and exhaust, and maybe add a distributor.

  20. Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! let see some HAMB model cars. I tried to build a T pickup. An older build . 001.jpg 006.jpg

Working on building a model of my '30 coupe. Have pretty much everything I need or can make but the rear fenders. If anyone has some rear fenders they would be willing to sell or can tell me where I can get them I would appreciate it. Thanks

Finished A and next project. Going to flatten hood (un-SS it) and do a plain-Jane BB, 4 speed wagon.
