I agree, it is the same car. I know Barrie Neff and helped him polish the car at a car show. I know the car well, I know the guy that bought it from Neff and the guy that owns it now.

It's awfully late for this reply, better late than...etc. The roadster was painted a plain very dark blue.....with a mop handle. This from the "best paint guy". XXX

Keith is getting this coupe ready for the road - and yes, he ditched those wire wheel covers. It is turning out to be a lot more work than he thought - fixing things the right way always takes time. When he is done, this old custom rod will take its rightful place back on the road.

Hi, Keith - And congratulations! Don't hesitate to ask if there's anything I might help you about....if you have half as much fun and success as I did with this wonderful old hot rod, you'll have terrific memories as well. All the best... This was meant to be, because my best pal Keith King, (as you may have read and who appears to be your twin brother) was absolutely instrumental in putting the car together with me...and somewhat like the Smothers Brothers, Bloody Mary always liked Keith best...Barrie Neff (phantom racer)

Keith is doing a fantastic job bringing this old coupe back to life. He recently acquired a Cadillac 331 motor for a future rebuild back to the way Bloody Mary appeared in that October 1963 issue of Popular Hotrodding. For now, the 302 Ford and C4 trans will do just fine.

That is Barrie Neff on the right the owner of the Mary when it was featured in the Oct.63 issue of Popular Hotrodding magazine. He was in town for a visit and came over to see his old car and congratulate Keith on the wonderful job he is doing bringing the Bloody Mary back to it's former glory. Keith and Barrie.JPG

Another one of Barrie's cars was this GMC six powered Model A channeled roadster. Does anybody have any good pictures of it? Barrie Neff.jpg

This is a 1/8 scale model of Barrie's Model A roadster that oldschool55 made, also Chester S's T another old hotrod from the Victoria B.C. area. Oldschool 55 is a very talented guy!! Barrie\'s roadster.JPG

Spoke to the current owner Keith this weekend and the Bloody Mary is close to being back on the road. Look forward to seeing it cruise the streets of Victoria once again!

Yes a great thread about a great car - Keith is a lucky guy to be the current owner of the Bloody Mary, a car with a rich history in this area. Check out a pic of the coupe in the latest issue of Rodders Journal.

Three of my most favorite cars in Victoria in the 60's were this chopped 4 door Ford and Chester's T and of course the Bloody Mary. Does anyone have any pics of Chester's T and the chopped fourdoor from back in the day? Chopped 4 door shoebox.JPG Chesters T-1.JPG
