just seeing who might be going convinced the wife to make the 250 mile drive, heard it was a great show ,just got the wagon sorted out needs a nice ride
Been several times! Great show! Weather is looking good for now! Many old hot rods you don't see anywhere else! If you have never been you will enjoy!
I'll be there with the family, but we'll be parked in the parking lot. Good show, lots of cars that only make it out once a year.
RHunt is right, some cars you have never seen and some that make it only to this show are there. I remember a 41 Willys coupe gassing up in front of me in Raynham MA that was covered in dust. The driver said it was his annual pilgrimage for the coupe. Go if you can, its great.
I'll be there. Got my reg stuff and just watching the weather. No windows or wiper, hope if blows over in the AM like they are saying. Cliff Ramsdell
Left the house at 7:30 and made it to the show by 8:30. No rain on the way down. About 10:00 we had to cover the 33 because I don't have a top on it yet and it poured. About an hour later uncovered the car and the rest of the day was beautiful! Some guys just arrived late which was another option. Had a great time and a good turnout. Better than having it sit in the garage!
Made it there and back. 180 mile round trip @ 55 MPH with the old flathead, not a problem on the trip. Missed the rain on road, It started just after we got there, sat in the car with the umbrella up, canvas top is a great sun shade, not so good keeping out the rain. It passed over and a great day was had by all. Average fuel mileage (wanted to know) Stock 59AB, 2 Holleys on a fenton, headers, 3 speed, 3.78 gears with 7.50.16 tires, 13.5 MPG, OK Cliff Ramsdell
Unfortunately had to sit this one out. First Ty-Rods I've missed in 26 years. Had to lie on the couch recovering from total knee replacement and dealing with a bout of shingles across my scalp brought on by have my knee cut out. I can now boast all my parts are NOT matching numbers. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Made it there just before the clouds opened up. Sat that out under the pavilion. Nice turnout and some great rides there.
