Projects Pics of New Roadster "The Rushmore Special"

    Thought you all might enjoy a couple pics of the new roadster I just completed. The car is a 1930 Model A Roadster with a 32 cowl vent, 32 frame, 1939 flathead with dual Edmunds Intake, T-5 trans, Halibrand V8 quickchange. I live about 15 miles from Mount Rushmore hence the name.

    I agree with gearheadbill and wheeldog57. The white is different and it looks really nice. I for one love this car.....love the flattie as well great job.

    I used a hood from Hoosier Hoods. I added some bracing and modified it a touch for my mounting. It really worked well.

    Thanks! Yes I did find templet! Made the American Stamping Rails have a little more appeal! haha

    My buddy Randy Gribble in Watertown,SD built the chasis. We played with the stance a little until we had it right. Started out with Ford heavy axle then went to a 4" drop Super Bell. The drop axle along with the 750 rear and 450 front rubber gave us the look I was after.
