History VINTAGE DEALERSHIP SIGNS

I bought this sign when I was driving a '55 Oldsmobile in high school. $35 was a lot of gas money back then. Even before signs got so outrageous, I could only afford the most beat up and unwanted relics.

My 88s are long gone, only the sign remains. It hangs on the back of the old "milk barn". The left half was a two-stall milking parlor on the old farm. The right half is a two-car addition that Dad and I built in a weekend for a total cost of $150 in salvaged materials.

I'd love to have a bunch of old dealership signs. Too bad they are so doggone expensive.
