So I wanted to build something different . I used the 408 stroker from my Dart drag car , along with the spooled 8 3/4 rearend , and pg trans . Its a 51 ford body with a 4 inch chop , and its on an s10 frame . l even used the Dart radiator , steering column , pedals , and modified the fenderwell headers to fit . Its a handfull on those n50's . Gotta was to go yet .

I tried to buy the 51 body 15 years ago , but the guy wdnt sell it . I caught him going thru a divorce last summer and I got it finally . Didn't realise how bad it was till I got it home . Basically rechopped the top , cuz it was so poorly welded . New door tops , trunk pan , and I made new rockers from a Chevy truck hood .

That is a 1971 360 Dodge .030 over with a stroker crank making it a 408 . It has w2 heads that I ported years ago with Harland sharp roller rockers . Its got a nasty Iskenderian solid cam , and msd ign . Makes a butt load of tourqe , and pushed my Dodge into the low 11's . Now its gunna live out the rest of its life fetching hamburgers in this old Ford on Saturday nights .

I like where this is going! Slot mags for the win. If I may ask, what happened to the rest of the Dart?

Didn't have title to it , plus it was rusty , plus there wasn't much left after I took everything from it to make the Ford a car again . I gave the hull to a friend . He ended up hauling it to the masher .

Those are 10's in the rear , and 3 1/2's up front . I scored them at an eststate sale last summer for cheap .
