I have been working on my coupe for 8 years. I am getting so close to driving it. I am under the gun to get it together enough to take to the Hot Rod Hill Climb in Colorado. I have about 3 weeks to get it ready.

That's why I bought this latest body - back to FULL HEIGHT ,BABY! East Coast without the channel. (yet).
I like the way the chop LOOKS, but on a long drive at highway speeds with all the facebook texting a-holes, I want a clear view of what's happenin'. And I like to S-T-R-E-T-C-h out.
    Each to his own though.

You guys are probably sick of these two, but I STILL have them and I'm ALWAYS working on them ( the list of things to do never gets shorter!)
And besides, if I finished them, I'd just have to start another one-- oh, wait a minute- I did start another one!! And I PROMISED the wife..............

chopped 4" by the guy I sold it to (bad job). After I bought it back, I fixed it, but it's still not comfortable on a long haul OR in town- can't see shit.

First one I did a few years ago, 3" chop, but the car wasn't built with a "rake" to it and it was much better driving wise. Sometimes it's not good to re-engineer your plan halfway through the build - then you basically don't have a plan!

Second pic is chopped 3", also channeled 4", and the fenders were cut in after. It was tight, but still not bad ( and looked pretty mean) Headlight bar is mounted at stock height to hold the fenders ( it didn't stay!)

I think IF you chop an "A", 3" is the magic number, at least for me.

"30 Tudor, 3" cut, nose up stance though
