Hot Rods Barn find while hunting for cobra in Houston area?

There is a 10 foot cobra snake loose here in the Houston area.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's office put this picture on their Facebook page. The dude standing on the car is the sheriff.

According to a news report, the snake was recaptured about an hour ago.

 

...and NOT by the chickensheriff...

I got no affinity for serpents, none. If somebody told me a COBRA was loose, I'd be on the roof of the eff'in BARN!!

 

I pulled out a trash can the other day and there was a nice big rattlesnake underneath it and I was inches from it. I'm not going to lie to you it didn't take me but a second to turn around and run. I think I would have walked over top of a 32 Ford coupe in mint condition to get away from that thing. So I am not going to be too hard on the sheriff. I'd probably have been right up there with him.

Usually its the other way around, Finding a snake while looking for the old car and not finding a old car while looking for a snake but then You wont find me looking for a snake as much as you would see me watching out for one. ......Yeah that does bug me how some people have no regard for other peoples things, I think I could have found some other place to stand unless it turned into a urgent situation.

 

.....to a lot of folks, these are just rusty-rotted old cars of no value. Our (you and me) universe is shrinking like it or not.
