Here's my helper and best friend. Just celebrated 13 years married 18 together ( damn!). She loves cars as much or more than I do and is always going "look at this" on the computer to some old wreck on Craigslist. She has supported me through ups and downs, racing stock cars, dragging home endless cars and always has a smile on her face. 1st pic is her helping me out on my model a

Second pic is her sitting in the newest car in the stable late 40's pop dryer v860 midget

    She's a keeper.

That's awesome. She is going to ruffle so many feathers and bruise so many egos. And God bless her for it. I do a good bit of work in the festival world and have met some of the hardest working , tireless, smart gals out there. Always enjoy working with them. Tiki wagon you should be very proud!!

0211161343.jpg Not exactly a garage photo but here she is the day McPeak finished painting the logo on "Rusty" Celebrated our 26th anniversary today. We don't agree on politics but she does love Rusty so she's a keeper.

For a while, my shop neighbor was a photo studio. Whenever a gal wanted some shop pinup pics in her portfolio, they would show up at my door with a couple of six-packs.

My Dad's plate. He was a motor pool Staff Sgt. In a Combat Cargo outfit forward base in the Burma jungle. That plate gave me the chance to tell my Dad's story when somebody asked about it. Unfortunately, it fell off one day but I couldn't find it when I traced back my route. Anyway, Dad made it home to court Mom.

My wife thinks this old car stuff is a bunch of foolishness. However many times she has come out to the garage when I needed an extra pair of hands or if I was having trouble getting a nut started.

My car club coat is actually an old Combat Cargo N1 jacket, hence the CC at the bottom. A lot of people think I put it on there for Car Club, but it was just a coincidence. At the top is says "USNASL Property"

That was for the United States Navy Arctic Submarine Laboratory which was formed in 1947 and focused on scientific exploration of the Arctic Basin, providing the capability to operate attack submarines in the Arctic under the ice canopy

You guys have garages nicer than my house. I couldn't survive in such a clean environment. Garages are supposed to get dirty if ya use them.

Sorry, no pics of the wife helping out. Back then all we had was film, and we didn't waste it too much. Now with a camera it seems like everywhere, she seldom helps me anymore. She loves to go to cruise in's and shows, just not get dirty working to get something ready to go in.

Technically not in the garage, but my 5 year old little girl is a good help and loves getting involved! 1471777805015.jpg
