Customs Need Help identifying a car from Modesto (make and year?)

    Hoping for so help to tell me what year and make car this is, I believe my father owned this in the early to mid fifties in Modesto calif, Mc Henry blvd. Stationed in Camp Roberts

    my guess is customized '46-'48 Lincoln Continental

    maybe look at 40-ish Zephyr conv. It might be that

    1940 Lincoln convertible customized . Possibly 1940-41 Studebaker front fenders and grille surround.
    Buick tail lights.

    It appears to be a '40-'41 Continental with modified '42-'48 rear fenders grafted on. Bumpers are the earlier Continental and also slightly modified.
