    61 Caddy Gas.jpg 61 Caddy.jpg Really great pics up here, they inspired me to fish these out of the box. About twenty years ago took the Caddy from Texas to Mississippi; these shots were taken on old US80 (bypassed by I-20) in northern Louisiana.

    Since you want it in front of a period or vintage background, how is this one??
    This is the Maid Rite in Springfield, Illinois which features loose meat sandwiches and home made root beer. It opened in August of 1924 which was 2 years before the Maid Rite Franchise was formed in 1926. It claims to have the first drive-thru window in the United States.
