3) original brick Old Lincoln Hwy segment in Omaha
4) Surf Ballroom, where Buddy Holly last played, "the day the music died"
5) 1800's windmill imported from Denmark in pieces & rebuilt

The James J. Eldred house is the largest limestone house on the Eldred blacktop in Greene County, Illinois. There were originally about a dozen limestone structures including houses and barns built along a 25 mile stretch in the lower Illinois River Valley in the 1830s. A few of the houses are still occupied but many are either gone or just shells.

 

Maybe not a "background", but a kool pic nonetheless!
