I have a Chevy 250 with an Edelbrock 1404 500 CFM sitting on top of an Offy intake and stock exhaust manifold. Thinking of replacing the ancient glaspack muffler. Any suggestions? Thank you!

  5. Split the manifold if you can and run 2 inch pipes with the smallest overall size magnaflow muffler. they have a great sound without being overly loud at cruise.

I put Smithy's glass packs on my 216 and though they gave it a good tone.

I find that the inline 6's make a bunch of noise if mufflered in a fashion that sounds good on a V8. I tend to try and over muffler them and then they can still be too loud.
