I was there doing this but twisted off a couple of weak Currie wheels studs in qualifying running 6.20's @ 108mph. I'm also waiting for the pro photogs to show up here...
He hung out with us after he broke, he's in the chair on the right under the big tent. That car of his makes a pass and is back in the pits before I can get to the finish line with my poor old stude!
From my other post... here's a few pics. The highlight was a grudge match between EL JEFE's killer hemi rail (still tuning) and BEATNIKONTINENTAL's killer Tardel-built flathead roadster (stout!)... an angry eighth-miler with a photo finish!

I met alot of new people and it was cool to meet people with such a strong passion for the build of cars and racing them.
