Puyallup (3 of 4).jpg Puyallup (4 of 4).jpg Puyallup (1 of 4).jpg Puyallup (2 of 4).jpg I hadn't been to this show since I was here for the first show in '91 (Ed Roth, myself and a handful of others were the only vendors). This year, the entire (very large) fairgrounds was full of cars.

The tough part was slogging through acres of muscle cars, jeeps, monster trucks, bad taste, etc. to find the tasteful, traditionally styled rods and customs that the Northwest has always been known for. The spirit of the late, great Dick Page lives!

We are on an ongoing trip for our landscape photography and our only problem is in getting good internet service in RV parks. This may be a slow, strung-out process, but I am on the job.

    Me too George.
"Pile up" has always been a great showcase for our NW cars, always enjoyed it but have not been for ten years.
The black deuce 5W, boy is that slick!

Damn what a great show!!! Gotta take my T and A down next year!

  25. Thanks for the pics ... I enjoyed all those cars.
Fri. was damn hot but Sat. had great weather.
So many cars to see my feet didn't know what hit them.

  26. Shannon cones, I love it.

  27. I went in '95 or 96 with my ratty assed 50 delivery....I LOVED it! The Tie Rods were there with their traditional 30s fords. First time I'd seen anything like that. Street drags in the evening ....

I'm pretty sure that's Paul Harpers purple 41 Ford.
I don't really like posting photos on Tom's threads as that seems disrespectful but here are a couple that I took of that car in 2005 when he first finished it. It is an old PNW custom that Paul rescued and slowly put back together.
