If this is not allowed please feel free to take down or let me know and I will take it down. Here are a couple pictures of my grandfathers 63 split window corvette. Its known as the Marrs Boys BB/GS Vette. It held the national record and was in car craft mag in Aug. of 69. They raced the car in California. We believe the car was sold to someone in Ohio. My Dad and I are wanting to track down this car, so if anyone may know of its location or an information on it please share it with me. Thank you. 63 Vette.jpg 63 Vette.jpg Marrs Boys VETTE.jpg

Cool Vette. The gold chainers would have a cow if that was done to a split window now days. I hope you find it and if it's still around, it's probably been "overly restored" to stock .

It was also in 1001 Rod & Custom ideas in 1968 or 69, but I can't tell you which issue right now, my magazines are 7000 miles away.

  18. easier to trace if you have the VIN for it.

  19. its probably already redone and loaded with billet and digital gauges, and a stuffed crying babydoll with coveralls leaned up against it at the shows.
I sure hope he finds it and saves it from that future.

I wish I had the VIN but no such luck . This car was purchased by Mel Marrs at a salvage yard and made into a race car don't know if it ever had a VIN on it.

Drifting off topic, but was it built on a stock or custom built frame?

Holy Shit! look at that '56 in the background.......spindle mounts, radiused wheelwells, wicked stance, massive setback, masked driver.....all kinds of badass.....sorry for the highjack rant, but I love it - oh, and the vette is cool too!
