Hi Scott I sold my old Austin Devon ice cream van to a museum at new Lanark. That museum is closed now but the guy still owns the van. It must be a few years since you've been to the new riverside museum cos the Bedford ice cream van has been off the road for approx four years

I've never been to the Riverside museum yet! - I remembered that the Bedford was on Google Street view a couple of years ago I think, but have just checked and the view has been updated -boo!

That setup is pretty damned hillbilly. IT has just the right amount of hot mess to pry the greenbacks from the unsuspecting blowhard. I like it!

I've always like old machines, but my budget was limited. Every time I got one running right, some thing else would break, and I have to scramble to get the money for the parts. It seemed like all my stuff was cursed........Cursed Gears!

My friends named me this years ago because I am hilariously uncoordinated on land but hat the opposite in water. I know if they see this name they'll know it's me.

Thought about a user name for a while. Because I have had and deal with a lot of Chrysler stuff a lot of guy's around here know me as "mopar gene". But right now I don't have one so that didn't seem to fit. Some other names came and went. Than one evening I was making a list of all the cars that gave parts for mine. My wife looked at the list and said "you must have every letter of the alphabet covered in that mix". Than I thought about the Campbell's soup we ate as kids. Next thing you know "Alphabet Soup" came out of my mouth and on to the H.A.M.B.

  23. Growing up some people decided to call me 'Scooter'. Probably since it's already similar to my real name (Scott). I added 'ville' cause I thought it was cool. Not sure now since later on I found there is a company called Scooterville that supplies scooters for the elderly. :)

Mine goes back to my streetracing days and the expression, "If you can't run with the big dog, stay on the porch". That was 40 years ago, now I'm just an old dog.

Well. this is slightly embarrassing but my names actually" Ladonne Portnoy Saxtedder III, Earl of Buckingshire, Viscount of Kent" but figured that may not fit in on the H.A.M.B. so I tuned er up a bit.....Honest
