Not mine, but I'd love to build something similar to it for a workhorse/beater type - only a little nicer.

My wife takes it to Lowes and loads it up with flowers and crap, but it also hauls cool stuff from time to time.

Mine is going to haul some lumber to repair our spa deck this weekend. I also hauls flowers for my wife. Have to be careful as my classic license has limits about it's use.

That what there were all made for originaly. Especialy the trucks. I will use mine to be used as a truck just like any other regular truck. If it made just for show then it not realy fun to enjoy all the way. 1463634544065.jpg

That's actually my father's truck. He drives that thing everywhere and is pretty much his daily during the summer. Though it isn't pretty, it does drive down the road at highway speeds very comfortably...

Wish I had pictures, but used my avatar once to carry both 289s and Paragon trasmissions from my boat at the marina to my home. The truck never rode better.

1469345647421.jpg loaded down with ~1000lbs of concrete. Not bad for a bagged and C-notched truck with a 16" bed depth!

Back in late 60's I met a guy at work and went to his house to see his 34 Ford project...In his driveway was a stock 38 Ford Dump Truck; with a 401 Buick nail head with hurst motor mounts and a trans adaptor! Stock trans and rear end, faded paint and rust and dinged bed..Just an around town neighborhood helper...Of course every once in a while the urge to open the four barrel and catch some unsuspecting person in a car or pick up by surprise couldn't be resisted..Most times the rear axle would hold up, once in a while not..

64 gmc. 350 pontiac engine. Th400 trans and a 2.79 rear from a 78 pickup. Disc brakes from a 78 also. Needless to say it drives great down the highway.

I have a 4 dr 07 chevy right now. When the time comes I don't have to haul my mother in law, Mom, or grand kids, I'm going with a 50's or 60's chevy, camaro sub frame, later rear end and a/c for the wife. Wish I could do it now. Damn taxes and insurance anymore kills you. I see these new trucks at work with a $60,000 price tag and wonder how anyone affords to own them.

  25. No, the bed is too short,so just hauled luggage,Poinsettia's and Christmas Trees. HRP
