International KB-2

I just got an old KB-2 in an estate/lawsuit settlement. It didnt come with any paperwork and I am not having any luck figuring out what year it is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

University of Wisconsin has the Navistar Archives to find out year from serial number.

 

agreed... i'd say 48, as the grill looks identical to a 48 kb-3 i had long ago

 

YOu have to get much closer to truck but watch for LIGERS! What SMOG GUY said and pop the hood,,that vintage truck should have the serial # on the firewall in plain view,,,top passenger side.
I have a K1 I built on the road and tinkering with a second.

The truck is already home and we didn't run into any "ligers" We did however have to watch out for rattlesnakes.

 

Been gathering parts for awhile. Picked up a good running 289 and C4 and 6 of the old slot mags Finally started messing with it and now we are moving so back to being neglected....

 

I had one once, I too, neglected it till somebody else wanted it...SOLD
