I NEVER LOST ANY OIL PRESSURE MY CAR RAN 11.03 SO THINK AGAIN. IF HE HAD BEATEN ME I WOULD HAVE MADE MY CAR FASTER. .

    Hi, 66Tiger!
Cool crown vic you drove/raced back in the day.
Just curious, what engine/trans did you had then? It was less engine and trans on Ebay.
When I tried to buy it on Ebay the seller also had a early Pinto dragrace car for sale in 70's race style. Was that also your built?

That's quite a herd of heavy hitters you had. Feel free to elaborate on any old 'war stories' of back in the day. We love to hear tales of old from those who lived it. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Hamb, the best hotrod site on the innernet.:D

Moval57 Rob did have one of the fastest cars of the group but you have probably forgotten Steve Becthels 427 bb malibu that ran low 10s at 133 on slicks through the mufflers.

Very nice Crown Vic! There was a guy in my high school class, (66-69) who always has one; he'd build one, then get tired of it, or wreck it. Hey, they were just "cars" back then, and nothing really special about them. I even used to think how a Crown Vic would look converted into a Rachero with the "Crown" integrated for the effect . But, being a Chevrolet guy, that would never happen on my end. The high school fella always put an I-beam axle under them, and FE power (usually a 352 or 390, but one time a new 406) with a 4 speed. This was back in the day of "extended shackles" to get the rear of the car lifted up. My best friend in high school, traded his 55 Chevroler Bel Air Hardtop to the same guy for his 62 Ford Galaxie Convertible (a real POS to), despite my pleading with him not to do it. But, he really wanted a convertible, and that's all he saw. Again, Very nice Crown Vic! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Given enough time ALL the 56 Crowns and regular Victoria’s will be in Sweden.....I get hit up at gatherings and cruises by travelers from there on trips all the time for mine.
