This is my new '30 - '31 Ford Model A Pickup. It was built and owned by Moses Mo of the band Mothers Finest. I purchased the car from him yesterday. He has done some amazing work. I plan on doing even more. I even had him sign the car. He also gave me a full set of '35 Wire Wheels with the car. Two of them are on the front in the first two pics.

It has a late model 2.3L 4 cyl and 5 Speed Tranny out of a Ranger pickup. The rear end is out of an S10.

Pretty cool update considering this truck would have originally had a Flat Head 4 Cyl.

Mo made the steering wheel, it's one of my favorite parts on the whole truck. He has a lathe that can cut a Radius. The middle is a old ashtray and a horn button made together. It screws down on the steering shaft, kinda acts like a jamb nut.

I suggest putting the wires on all 4 corners. Drop the bed down some, and lose chuckie. Not sure about the diamond plate rain reflectors. History seems cool and the truck has some nice potential. As long as you like it in the end and you drive, that's all that really matters. Thanks for sharing.bed might be cooler bobbed.

  9. I gotta admit the doll is kinda creepy and looks like something a street rodder would have in his car. HRP

Yea, that is definitely the plan after I get some new tires on the wires. The doll is just for Halloween, the kids got a real kick out of it at the show. Also that's engine turned aluminum, not diamond plate, looks better in person.

Here's the car after I put back on the wires and new Firestones. I also took a grinder to the white letters of on the rear for some homemade white walls.

Hey Guys, after 2.5 years, I finally got this thing back!

I went stupid and traded it off January 26th, 2014.

I've been trying and trying to get it back.

    Now it's mine once again.

The only thing the guy did to it was paint it all black, with crappie PlastiDip, and he put disc brakes on the front.

Glad you got it back. No car, excuse me TRUCK, is finer than one that is appreciated by its owner.

    Yeap, and positive traction. ;)

This drivetrain would originally have had a 4.11 gear from the factory. I'm putting the taller wires in the back, so I went with 4.56.

Yea, I thought about blacking it all out, but I like it standing out.
