we searched the forums for front brakes and only found one company. isn't there any other brake that we could use before we have to spend deep pocket money? like drums or rotors from some other car? thanks for scratching your head.
I bought mine from AAJ Brakes at (503) 8901469 or by e-mail at [email protected]. We have 1947 Windsor 7 passenger sedan .
Relocate your front shock tops while you are in there. Also, for small-scratch, you can get a 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee 1" front anti-sway-bar. Mount it upside down, with some part-store end-links. There are pictures in my albums, I think. The improvement from those two mods will give you near-modern handling.
are you going stock or what ? plenty of NOS shoes available....mopar ran those same brakes for maybe 12 yrs or more....
if the parts are available to rebuild the front brakes why are people replacing them? is it that hard to adjust them? we are replacing the rear end right now with an early mustang that is damn near a bolt in. we are working on installing a 194 chevy six and a powerglide we just rebuilt. we are moving the center of the firewall back a few inches to have room to use a mechanical fan and radiator room. sounds nuts but it is easier that some of the amazing things we see on the hamb.
