Got the roadster up on the rack doing so final cleaning and I'll be ready to make the long trek from Sequim to the ferry terminal in Port Angeles. Friends from Vegas are driving their Deuces up for the event also.

 

This 36 Ford coupe will be there.

 

This 34 Plymouth coupe will be there..

 

This 28 Ford Tudor sedan will be there...

Just on final shakedown then heading out from Calgary on Tuesday.

 

Sorry I was unaware. I have edited the post. Now I know why Jake was barking at it !!

 

This car was at the 2007 Deuce Days.

 

Well it drove 15 miles there and back to a local car show today so I think it will do just fine.

 

I'd jump at the chance to get behind the wheel and drive it home!

 

Just gotta finish cleaning underneath, then I'll be ready for Deuce Days.

 

Just wanted to wish everyone who is driving long distances safe travels. I can't wait. We will be on the 10 am ferry Friday morning.

Several attempts were made at saving this Ferry, sadly no one with deep enough pockets stepped forward, nor did enough of us little people offer enough funds to restore this once beautiful example of art deco design from back in the days so many of us enjoy.

On a positive note I am 1 day and a wake up from starting my journey to Deuce Days with my Forty Ford Coupe.

 

Definitely looking good...........have a safe trip & see you there...........lots of DD's travellers on the road now, coming from far & wide............

 

The rear main seal didnt like the 15 mile drive, I can promise you that. Dont have the energy to tackle it this close to the show.

 

That's ok. It will still make it. I drove my deuce Tudor this past weekend the rear end has developed a very bad squeal that goes away when I step on the brakes. I'm hoping it's a hanging brake, but I think it might be a bearing....if it's a bearing, I might not make the show at all.
