another great show at Kelly Park in San Jose put on by the Strangers car club. attendance seemed down a bit this year. only 3 bucks for walk ins! that's the show for me. here we go....

Is that bare metal kustom a Studebaker?

 

I'd say the bare metal custom is a 1940 Mopar of some sort with a Lincoln grille

this car was by far the coolest one there in my opinion.

 

It is a 1940 dodge with a 1941 Lincoln grill

yeah, that car was cool. I just noticed it has 1957 hood bumps in it along with the Nomad roof.

 

This is cool! I wonder how they handled the tailgate and rear window. Not sure, but it looks like they may have chopped the top a little bit or something, the door window seems to be taller than the rear side windows.

Thanks for posting all the pics but I have a question. Do they have a rule against open hoods? In most shows around here most of the hoods are up so people can check out the engines. Of all the cars with hoods in your pics only one was open. What's up with that?

 

a car with the hood open makes for a bad photo. there is more than one car I passed by with my camera where I did not take a photo because of the hood being open. I really like that purple car, so I took the photo even with the hood open.
