These revived threads are okay by me (except for the missing pics!) because I always get something I missed the first time around. Went through the posts but missed any '53-'54 Plymouth Suburban wagons. Always had a liking for them, and haven't seen very many over the years either. Here are a couple I've spotted...

From a couple years ago at MSRA's Back to the Fifties:

And this one at Goodguys Indy 2006:

If you like them like I do, you would reeealy like this one. Though it has to be seen in person to fully appreciate it.
Fellow Oregonian @wutnxt had a great get together a while back, about 40 cars in his yard.

11 pages and only one small mention of the 59-60 Rambler American Wagon? Want one for my next project.

Like this but a silver top and no roof rack..

Well, the Nomads are cool, and the Safaris much more so IMHO, but my personal favorite is (my) 57 Sedan Delivery that I got from the original owners a while back- not Wimbledon, but Corinthian White, and that sucker is just sleek. 223 still runs good, already have FPA headers for a 427 and one of those toploader 3+1 OD trannys, got 2 sets of Magnum 500s that fit just right, and a Fatman 3" drop spindle/ disc brake kit that I picked up in Stockton just yesterday. Funny thing on the kit, as we were loading it in the trailer (with the 38" Farmall wheels and tires I had just picked up in Merced- another obsession lol), the guys says yeah, I got these for my Galaxie and never put them on, they were mocked up once on Gary Meadors' 61 Sunliner and he changed his mind so I got a good deal on them

  15. There are so many cool wagons owned by Hambers, but they get lost in these 2 huge threads.

This is it- the gal I got it from rode home in it with her dad when he picked it up from the dealership, went camping in it as a kid, and took it on her honeymoon

My 64 is my favorite.. I just acquired this last week.. I've always liked these wagons for some reason, I just had an eye for them I guess..

Its not traditional and I'm sure some of you guys will cringe, but the undercarriage is all stock.
Smallblock 350 .060 over, dished hypereutectic pistons, 58cc aluminum bowtie heads, erson 290/472 cam, roller rockers, 750 mighty demon carb, th350, 3000rpm convertor, 3.42 gear.. GregWeld wheels which will be the firs tthing to go... I'm thinking some Supremes might find a home under her.

She can get a little snappy from time to time....

May not be "the coolest", but fairly rare. Had this when I was a kid in the early 70's.
