We desperately need a update and some pictures.
Spies is a good product,We had real good luck with Standox clears, they seem to have the best window on their clears in the heat. When we painted Prevos motor homes we always used it. They had a French/Canadian paint rep named Reney and he knew his product well and he could back it up and apply it with excellent results, not like a lot of paint reps, that had go make a phone call, and probably never sprayed anything. Yes all the material has gotten mega$$$$$$$.

About the time I finished the paint work on my truck cab I came down with a terrible summer cold that stuck with me for about 5 weeks it was the sickest I had ever been. About two weeks ago all hell broke loose, I started to vomit alot, and had bad back pain and honestly thought I was a gonner. I went to the ER the next day, they suspected it was meningitis. The doctor did a spinal tap and ran some test, thankfully the results came back negative for meningitis and concluded that I just had a bad viral infection, so after 12 hours I was released from the hospital. It took me about week to recover but im feeling better now and able to go back to work. So long story short I haven't done shit to my truck since the last update but stay tuned Ill be back at it and have another update soon.

I love the Spies Hecker It lays on so nice without even trying, wish I could spray it on all my jobs but its way to expensive for my everyday jobs.

  18. As much as I love these old hot rods none of them are worth wrecking your health over. Stay healthy.

  19. Be careful, Sounds like it could be a paint reaction, my brother went through the same thing due to isocyante (sp?) exposure.
Your work is outstanding, truck looks great.

  20. Glad you are better. I'm sure that was scary.

  27. I've never been to Bonneville but I hope to go someday. I enjoyed seeing your pics. Thanks for sharing them with those of us who wish we could be there.

  28. Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like the salt conditions were great. Better than they have been in a while. I'm going to have to make it out there again. It's been an awful long time.

A lot of the racers said the salt was real bumpy and traction was not very good. But they were still breaking records. After the last few years im just glad they were racing again.
