Sorry, my camera on my phone is terrible. The plan is to get rid of the front and back rubber that the glass fits tightly into. I'm having the glass cut tight to the window opening with only a 1/16" gap. The rear window will have to be filled in about an 1" or so to have the same 1/16" gap. That one will take a little bit of work but i think it will be worth it. I'll have pics in the next week or so

First, GREAT job on the chop, 4 doors are difficult to do correctly and symmetrically. Your car is coming along very nicely. Take a look, if you already haven't, at the "Dixie Deluxe" built by Bo Huff, it has beautiful lines much like the Voodoo Larry car-and like yours!
Question: I am working on my 51' and have thoughts of flush mounting the glass because I will have a very difficult time mounting the rubber moulding in the channels, especially in the front windshield. The front windshield opening was done prior to me buying the car so to change it will make the window even smaller and I don't want to go any smaller for "law enforcement reasons". Are you looking at mounting your front and rear windshield glass flush without using the traditional window rubber moulding? I'll be watching this if so!!!

Thank you! Yes i am planning on flushing out both front and back glass. The front is getting cut as we speak and when we get it back, i will start filling in the back to flush that out. I LOVE bo Huffs car. I saw that one a couple years ago and am attempting a similar look....with a little less money. I will load pics when i get the car back.

Beautiful work on the chop. A Merc chop is tough enough. A 4 dr. Merc even more so! I like the lines of rear doors w/o vent windows.
Curious to know about how many hours you have spent on the chop?
