I build most of my cars around our event deadlines.....I wouldn't advise it, but I do it regularly.

  4. my 63 should be roadworthy in a month or so....
pending when and where i'd be willing to help with whatever i could

It will be in 2017. When does the weather get good in WI?

  6. May is still a little sketchy most years. June is probably the earliest I would schedule anything. After that, anytime until the snow flies, which is usually around November or December. Although some of the Hunnert Car Pile-Ups were freaking COLD, and they were in October.

I'm in and would be interested in helping set something up in western wisconsin. Around the LaCrosse, Tomah, Wisconsin Dells area. The Coulee Region is top notch for scenery!

During autumn colors would be beautiful. Late-september/early october...

  11. Iola is July 7, 8 & 9 this year. I think that's a bit early. I would vote for a fall show, late August into mid September would be great.

The Olson Brothers run a memorial Fall run in memory of their father Vern. If I remember correctly it is usually about 100 miles. They run Olson Auto Exchange in Stoughton. Cool guys, cool run!

  13. @Roothawg if you guys can get something going in my neck of the woods I want in on the club. I totally love what you guys are doing I just don't want to be a stand alone in my area. I'm sure you understand.;)

I'm from North Central WI, and would be down for something like this... we try to put miles on the truck whenever we can and really want something other than sitting at shows.... Sounds great!!

I think we are leaning towards the western part of the state. Our shows are based around 2 lane highways and lots of good scenery. Every year we change the route, so it may move.

Get after it. You have a year, maybe a little less.

  25. Hoping I can make it up. Seems I better fix some stuff on my Ford so it will be ready for some more road trips this year and next. Already planning on driving it to St. Louis, MO and Granbury, TX in October of this year and then Springfield, MO next year. And now a longer trip for next year to make it to WI. :D

  26. Jeff, he is talking 2017 so you should be fine. I should be driving the ISO by then so you can follow my tail lights like usual.
