Here are a few pictures from the host hotel parking lot Friday night. More cars came after we'd already gone inside for the meeting so we didn't get pictures of all of them. We had beautiful weather on Friday but rain on Saturday so no pictures from Saturday's Deuce Doins event at the GoodGuys car show.
They look better here, than a 'fairgrounds' setting. Hotel means on the road for most. Ah thank you for these pix.
Big hole in my roof so I didn't run down Saturday.....Sounds like I made a good call. How was the weather Saturday?
383deuce, liked your car sitting in the hotel parking lot and liked it even more after reading all 28 pages of your thread. Well done.
Guys, I need your help in locating this '32 for an old friend of mine. The car was sold in Austin, TX in the late 60's and the most solid lead I have says it ended up last in Nebraska with a fellow who has shown it at the Mid-West Dueces show before. Th top was chopped by Barris in CA, Tijuana tuck and roll, white with purple diamond insets. Last sold in Austin, Texas sometime in the late 1960’s. Car was called the Purple Turtle and raced with a Crysler 392 injected hemi. If you have any info at all, please let me know. We would like to discuss a price on getting it back!
