  5. I thought that someone may get a kick from my story. My Dad had one of those station wagons with the rear seat facing the rear of the car. I tied a piece of tire rope to this little roadster. Then I had my little brother roll the window down and pull it behind Dads wagon .ha. ha. I also wired one of my little sister's dolls in it . We had a lot of fun with it, until one evening Dad stopped at a traffic light, 011.jpg and a car pulled up beside us. The guy rolled his window down and told my dad about what we were doing. NOT GOOD! ha. ha. I kept it , and I put it beside one I found later to show a before and after shot. Ron...

Wandering around the Dunkirk Auto Flea market last week I spotted a few diecast 1/32 streetrods that I thought might go on a auto transport truck I had sitting empty on a shelf.
I removed the cheesy graphics, gave a couple of them a new paint job and ended up with some decent looking cars that I only paid a buck a piece for.

  13. I thought I would give this thread a bump. I would like to see some cool old toy cars. this is an old wind up Pontiac and tin camper. Thanks Ron... 031.jpg

  14. A few things left over from the past. Purple Tonka belonged to Chevy57dudette, the Petmobile has been mine since new. The boat was dad's, WWII era. Pull the lever in the back & release to squirt water out of the hose. One I'll never part with.
2nd pic is a '59 Chevy El Camino, pretty sure it's old,and a Tonka / Willys combo bought at a swap meet. Not rare, but cool! IMG_20160621_194534353.jpg IMG_20160619_204341428.jpg IMG_20160621_194534353.jpg

This just came in the mail, a whole 60's slot car case with cars and parts!

First up is a GHC "Little Joe" 32 Ford Coupe. General Hobby Company (GHC) commissioned MPC to make this car and another one, "Big Go" a Willys.

It also came with an "interior" and driver. Kind of useless since the windows are so small you can hardly see inside, especially at speed!

Next up is a James Bond Aston Martin made by Atlas.

A previous owner obviously used some traction goop and eventually destroyed the rear tires.

I picked this up at a flea market.

It has been partially started, but so far appears complete

Do not adjust the color on your screen, the chrome has a pink tint to it!
