@HOLLYWQQD If I'm remembering right I saw your 34 coupe at ROG this year and the motor was whining like it had a supercharger but when I looked in the hood vents I didn't see one. Was that you? What was that noise? The cars look great by the way.

That is some cool cars! Or should I say CQQL?
Barris build fine customs and named them kustoms, you cars rock and it fits the bill just fine.

How many of the cars outside the photos do you own?

I still remember the car you build from your parts stash, with intent too sell, but when you do something for your self it's just as CQQL!
    Welcome back to the herd

ha ha thanx for noticing LOL i threw an alternator on the car before i went down and i had to modify it to work with the bracket i made and i thought that i had an alignment issue that was taking out the bearing ! BUT i came home and replaced the alternator and that pesky whine never went away and at that very moment i recalled that i had robbed a needle and seat from one of the holley 94's on my roadster (forcing it to spend the weekend in the garage at the condo) and when putting the carbs back together on the coupe ended up with a gasket leak ! that obnoxious whine was a vacuum leak from a gasket on the front carb ! i wish that story involved a supercharger !! on another funny note though i did stop on my way to TROG and pic up a chain driven 1955 Schwitzer Cummins blower and when in wildwood the first day i showed it to one of the trog attending neighbors of mine ! when i rolled the coupe out of the garage a couple days later to go racing they heard that whine and came running out in awe that i had fabbed up an intake and pulleys and got that blower working! HA HA HA i let em believe it for a little bit then broke the news to em that it was just garbage making noise !

Haha. Man that is really funny. That air leak was a dead ringer for a supercharger. I thought for sure there was a belt driven blower off to the side that I just couldn't see. You had me crawling all over that car looking for some top secret go fast tricks hidden under the hood.
