That was my first LARS. Was it worth it to travel from New Zealand to the US to attend a car show? Definitely, it's up to you what you make of it. Traditional hot rods of the 40s and 50s (my favourites) were the minority. There are still some project opportunities available, but prices are very high. The pre-LARS workshop tour is something I could really recommend. You guys in Southern California are very privileged to have so many excellent shops, part suppliers and shows next door.

 

Thanks again for the nice photos Cyclone. It is truly a great gathering of the finest hot rods at a wonderful venue. Your efforts to give us a taste is appreciated. TEB

Thanks heaps for the pics, you did a great job of selecting the correct stuff for the HAMB viewers. It definitely is a great swap and show all in the one location.
