Harley is full of good suggestions like that :D

Perhaps I need to post a photo of that Hemi-A coupe with spindle mounts that I saw at Lonestar for some extra encouragement ;)

Anyway.....I'm just about to leave to drive down to Pendine :)

Surprised you are looking at this, seeing how Pendine is calling. Hope you have a really good weekend !
I'll be surfing the net looking for pictures of the racing, next year i want to be there on sand with my camera.

fully fendered - spindle mounts and slicks would make it look killer!!! whatever wheels and tires you end up running you are gonna have one of the coolest cars this side of the pond next year

Thanks, i'm pleased you enjoyed it. I tried to document it just so i could look back and think... shit, that was a lot of effort :)
It may not be the best way to do it, but it gives a good idea of the amount of work involved !

New trunk floor made to fit the chassis mods

Modified the seat sub rail section and the seat base to clear the transmission, and kept the seat in the same position.
They have even moved the seat adjuster to one side so the seat still slides.

That reminds me of a blue metallic one that's been around a while. Always fancied that one.

Yeah that's the one i was thinking about !
I'd change a few things seeing it now, but it's very similar to the gold one. I've not seen it for a few years.

    New floors and tunnel.

Looking great, i’m really surprised how much room is still left. When i had the Hemi in the ’32 pickup it was rather cramped inside. Obviously more space in the coupe but the engine bay is a lot smaller. This should be a lot nicer to drive !

I had the day off work yesterday to take a 110 mile trip up to Buckland Automotive ... to see the beast.
It's a bit breath taking seeing it hiding in the workshop as i walked up the yard. All the hard work they've put in, is quite stunning, I'm still grinning from ear to ear.

Mocking up where to put some blisters. The hood sides will be another hand made piece, blistered and louvered. Adrian’s going to try and make it in one piece !

    Loads of space !

Rear end looks awesome, pleased i went for the Winter’s axle !

Then the hood came off and the wild ideas started !

Adrian pulled out his spindle mount front wheels and we all just stood and stared !
